Chefnotes may display information from independent third-party retailers and allow you to prepare or transfer a shopping basket to a retailer’s website or checkout. The retailer’s checkout may be displayed inside Chefnotes through an embedded browser or WebView for convenience.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, third-party retailers are not owned, controlled or operated by Chefnotes. The display of a retailer, its products, name or trademarks within Chefnotes does not imply any affiliation, partnership, agency, sponsorship or endorsement between Chefnotes and that retailer. Chefnotes does not represent or act on behalf of the retailer.
When you proceed to a third-party retailer’s checkout, any purchase of goods is made directly from that retailer. The retailer—not Chefnotes—is the seller and is responsible, subject to applicable law, for the products, final prices, taxes, fees, availability, substitutions, payment processing, fulfilment, delivery, cancellations, returns, refunds, warranties and customer support relating to that purchase.
The retailer’s own terms and conditions, privacy policy and other applicable policies govern your purchase. You should review them before submitting an order. Displaying the checkout inside the Chefnotes application does not make Chefnotes the seller or a party to the purchase contract.
Product information, prices, availability, delivery estimates and other retailer information displayed by Chefnotes may be supplied by third parties and may change before checkout. The information and final amount shown by the retailer at checkout take precedence. Chefnotes does not guarantee that third-party information will always be complete, accurate or current.
Chefnotes may use independent technology providers to prepare or transfer your selected items to a retailer. Their technical involvement does not make Chefnotes the seller and does not create a partnership, agency or other commercial relationship between Chefnotes and the displayed retailer.
Any fee charged separately by Chefnotes will be clearly identified and relates only to the Chefnotes service described at the time of purchase. Where a Chefnotes checkout fee applies to an order completed at a third-party retailer, that fee pays only for the Chefnotes basket builder — preparing and transferring your basket. It is not payment for the retailer’s goods, delivery or other services, which you pay to the retailer directly at the retailer’s own checkout.
Information you provide directly within a third-party checkout may be processed by the retailer and its service providers under their respective privacy policies. Chefnotes is responsible only for personal data that it processes as described in the Chefnotes Privacy Policy.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any consumer right, responsibility or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
