These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between "CHEFNOTES" EOOD, registered under UIC 208291677 in the Commercial Register and the Register of Non-Profit Legal Entities with the Registry Agency, with its registered office and management address: Sofia, Vitosha residential district, 6 Boris Arsov St., entrance A, floor 4, apartment 84, and the users (clients) who use the electronic platform of the website https://chefnotes.com/. By using the website in any manner, including clicking on any object, image, link (other than this Terms and Conditions link), or button located on the website https://chefnotes.com/ or the Chefnotes.com mobile application, the User is deemed to have read, accepted, and agreed to the Terms and Conditions described below and explicitly consents to them.
These Terms and Conditions are in compliance with the requirements of the Consumer Protection Act (CPA), the Act on the Provision of Digital Content and Digital Services and the Sale of Goods, as well as other applicable legislative acts in the Republic of Bulgaria.
The Terms and Conditions may be unilaterally amended by “CHEFNOTES” EOOD on the website https://chefnotes.com/ at any time through their update. Such changes take effect immediately upon their publication and are binding for every User/Client.

About the Platform
“CHEFNOTES” EOOD operates a platform for mediation in the conclusion of service contracts / delivery of goods (including food, beverages, and ready meals, hereinafter collectively referred to as products) through electronic means. “CHEFNOTES” EOOD is an intermediary that manages the platform and facilitates contact between the client/user and the supplier/manufacturer or seller of the ordered products/services (hereinafter also referred to as the user or client and merchant). “CHEFNOTES” EOOD is not responsible for the products and/or services offered by the merchants through the platform, their quality, or the proper fulfillment of submitted orders.
Merchants providing the respective service or selling the respective product are responsible for the proper quality, safety, and obtaining of any license or permit that may be required by law for the production, provision, and offering of the listed goods or services.
“CHEFNOTES” EOOD is not responsible for inspecting products sent or delivered through platform orders, nor for their ingredients or processing, provision of allergen information, or their delivery method (packaging, storage, etc.).
Account Creation
By creating an account, the user acknowledges and explicitly agrees to these Terms and Conditions, as well as to the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy available online on the platform. Users under the age of 18 are not permitted. Users must be legally competent individuals or legal entities properly registered and existing under applicable law.
To create an account on the platform, users must provide specific data, such as: username, email address, and phone number. A password must also be generated. After registration, all Users will be able to access, complete, and edit their profile, with “CHEFNOTES” EOOD not storing users' payment data, which will be processed and stored by the payment service provider.
The user guarantees that all information provided for the account creation is true, complete, and up-to-date. If any User provides false, inaccurate, or incomplete information, or if the Company has reasonable grounds to doubt the authenticity, accuracy, or completeness of such information, it may deny access to and use of the platform.
Username and password details are confidential and must be protected by Users. Clients are obliged not to disclose account details or allow third parties access to their account, and if they do — they bear responsibility for those parties’ actions as if they were their own.
Use of the Platform, Order Placement, Payment, and Cancellation
Users who have created an account can purchase products and/or order services via the platform directly from product and service merchants.
After submitting an order through the platform, the product will be delivered to the user either by the supplier/manufacturer, a courier, or by “CHEFNOTES” EOOD.
By placing an order, the User authorizes “CHEFNOTES” EOOD to contact them in any necessary way related to the order.
The User may pay for products and/or services in cash upon delivery (cash on delivery), or by credit or debit card. During the ordering process, the User will receive information about available payment options for the selected product. The User is deemed to be informed that some merchants may not accept cash on delivery and may only accept prepayment by bank card.
To pay by card, the User must provide card details. This data is not stored or processed by “CHEFNOTES” EOOD. In some cases, “CHEFNOTES” EOOD will receive payment from the User on behalf of a third party — the respective merchant.
Once an order has been submitted and received on the platform, it cannot be withdrawn by the User via the platform. The User is deemed to be informed that due to the nature of the products offered by merchants (mostly perishable food items), they will not be able to cancel an order submitted through the platform, and is considered informed by these Terms and Conditions.
In some cases and for non-perishable goods, in accordance with the respective merchant’s policies, an order may be canceled, and the customer may only owe the delivery/courier service cost rather than the full order amount. For cancellation terms, the customer should refer to the merchant’s internal policies.
“CHEFNOTES” EOOD reserves the right to cancel an order without providing justification. Any amount held on the User’s account and/or card will be released after such cancellation.
If the User wishes to return a non-perishable product or file a claim or objection regarding a service, the merchant who sold the product is solely responsible for accepting and processing the return or claim in accordance with its internal policies and applicable legislation.
The customer must inspect the delivered durable goods upon delivery and raise any objections regarding quality or quantity at that time.
“CHEFNOTES” EOOD may assist the customer in resolving issues with the merchant in case of faulty or incorrect durable goods.
Delivery to Address
Clients are entirely responsible for providing accurate delivery addresses and selecting their exact location/geolocation when opting for delivery based on location. If the client is not present at the delivery address or if delivery cannot be completed due to the client’s actions or inactions, they shall pay the full courier service fee along with the cost of the ordered products. Delivery is made to the nearest appropriate location. In such cases, “CHEFNOTES” EOOD bears no responsibility for the delivery (including its quality or safety once the Client retrieves the product). If a durable product is delivered and can be returned to the respective merchant, the relationship between client and merchant shall be governed by the merchant’s internal rules and policies.
The client agrees and explicitly confirms that “CHEFNOTES” EOOD and other delivery personnel have no mechanisms for verifying the identity of individuals present at the delivery address. Therefore, delivery is completed to any person located at the specified address.
Fees and Prices
All prices listed are in Bulgarian leva (BGN) and/or euros (EUR), including VAT. Prices do not include delivery fees or other potentially applicable charges, which may be calculated and applied separately. The User receives full information about all amounts due for a specific order during checkout prior to final submission in a clear and unambiguous manner. All prices and fees are subject to change at any time, and it is the User’s responsibility to monitor them.
Contact and Dispute Resolution
Every User may contact “CHEFNOTES” EOOD to ask questions, provide suggestions, or receive information. Contact can be made via the email addresses listed on the site and through the contact form in the “Contact” section. The Client is considered informed that “CHEFNOTES” EOOD and the platform only provide online means of communication.
The User may refer disputes to alternative dispute resolution bodies (ADR bodies) listed under Article 181n of the Consumer Protection Act.
