Finely chop:
- about 120 gr Iceberg Lettuce
- 160 gr Pickled Cucumber
- 80 gr Red Onions
- 120 gr Cheddar cheese

Place one tortilla on a flat work surface and spread a portion of the ground beef over it in a very thin and even layer almost to the edges. Use about 100 g of ground beef for each tortilla. It is important that the layer stays thin so it becomes crispy.
Season with salt and black pepper.

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and lightly grease it with oil. The skillet should be hot enough that the tortilla starts sizzling as soon as it touches the surface.

Place the tortilla meat-side down into the hot pan.
Press down firmly with a spatula for about 10 seconds.
Cook for about minute without moving the tortilla.

Flip the tortilla and immediately reduce the heat to low. Add chopped pieces of cheddar cheese on top of the meat. Cook for about 1 more minute while adding:
- barbecue sauce
- chopped iceberg lettuce
- chopped pickles
- finely chopped onion
Then fold the taco in half and press it gently for a few seconds to help it hold its shape and become even crispier.

Smash tacos taste best served immediately while the meat is still crispy.
