Bring a large pot of water with 1 tsp Table salt to a boil. Add 200 gr Penne and cook according to the package instructions.

When the pasta is 3–4 minutes from being done, add 200 gr Broccoli Frozen directly to the boiling water (if using frozen broccoli, there is no need to thaw it beforehand).

Before draining the pasta, scoop out 1 cup of the cooking water. This will make the sauce creamy without using too much fat.

While the pasta finishes cooking:
Heat 3 1/4 tbsp Olive oil extra virgin in a small pan over medium-low heat.
Add the finely chopped 2 cloves Garlic.
Cook for 30–60 seconds, until fragrant (do not let it brown!).
Remove from the heat.
Add the freshly squeezed juice of 1/2 piece Lemon and the grated zest.
Add half of the reserved pasta water and stir.

Drain the pasta and broccoli and return them to the pot. Add the sauce and 50 gr Shaved Grana Padano. Toss well until creamy and glossy. If needed, add a little more of the reserved pasta water.
